On MOMMY MILKSHAKE 2010:

Manila has runs almost every weekend these days. But if you are looking for a fun and relaxed run with your family and your kids (even babies!), or if you are an expectant mom who’d like to have an easy walk or slow jog with other mommies, or if you are a regular runner who just wants to enjoy the fun side of running for the moment, then MOMMY MILKSHAKE is for you.:)

Join us at Milkshake!

We are happy and proud to announce our 4th year of organizing this great and fun celebration of breastfeeding and motherhood, MOMMY MILKSHAKE 2010 is happening on August 8, 2010, Sunday at the Bonifacio Global City.  August is World Breastfeeding Month and what better way to kick off the month than by spending time outdoors with our families and reminding everyone that for babies, the breast is better than rest! :)

We are only giving out bibs up to number 400 this year so we hope you’ll sign up now before we run out of slots. The run is open to babies, toddlers, kids, moms, moms-to-be, dads, grandparents, and anyone who believes in supporting the cause of breastfeeding in our country!  Registration fee is P200 for adults, P100 for kids 3-16 years old. Babies below 3 can join for free.

Sign up now by clicking here. Choose between a 3K or 5K walk or run. Upon signing up, you will received a confirmation email. For questions or inquiries on Mommy Milkshake, email janice@mommymundo.com.

Mommy Milkshake 2010 is organized by Mommy Mundo and PACE, co-presented by GlaxoSmithKline, with support from Mommy Matters, Havaianas, RCBC Savings Bank, Citibank, Cycles Mild Detergent, Cradle. We are excited to participate on this event. However, we were disappointed when we run out of kids shirt. My one year old daughter was only given an adult medium size shirt which is so BIG on her. Please see my site and find out how big it is. I hope there is still a small size kid shirt stuck somewhere. Nevertheless, we are looking forward to run with fellow moms and kids. :)

Can anybody please verify if the Mommy Milkshake run will still go on for today (Aug. 08, 2010)? cause it’s been raining almost all night long and up until today (4:00am), it’s still raining outside. I live in Mandaluyong and am registered for the run with my son. Any updates will be highly appreciated.
