With the sun shining and the kids out of school, it’s time to plan your family getaway. But what if you have a baby, you ask, can you still get away? Well, the answer is a resounding yes! We ask the ladies of Flow Surf Samba Yoga to give us their top baby-friendly destinations. The Flow family in La Union

Noelle Hilario and Denise Gonzales, two of the Flow triumvirate, know what they’re talking about as they’ve travelled all over the country - over air, land, and water - with their kids and babies in tow. Here are their top picks:

The kids playing in the sands of El Nido

1. Lagen Island in El Nido Noelle says, "Service is excellent. Besides the pool, there are lots of water activities kids can enjoy in the resort’s own lagoon like paddle boarding, kayaking. What's nice about the lagoon is that it's shallow and enclosed so no need to worry about the current or rip tides. Lagen is also eco-friendly so lots of nature activities for kids. They can go around the resort and look for wildlife creatures in the island."

Lagen is part of the El Nido group of resorts in Northern Palawan. It offers 50 modern accommodations with a lot of facilities including a restaurant, poolside bar, swimming pool, spa suite, massage cabana, marine sports center, boutique, game area, library, and a garden chapel. www.elnidoresorts.com/lagen-island-resort/about-lagen-island

Baby Pax in La Union

2. San Juan Surf Resort in La Union Denise says, "My top pick would be San Juan Surf Resort in La Union. I love the beach front rooms and the central garden area so kids can play basketball or run around. We love the front foyer area where you can stare at the beach and listen to the waves. The staff is accommodating and friendly."

San Juan Surf Resort offers villas and bungalows as well as fan rooms and airconditioned rooms. Its facilities include a surf shop, gym, bar, and restaurant. www.sanjuansurfschool.ph

3. GK Enchanted Farm in Bulacan "I like taking Kai outdoors so he can also learn to appreciate nature and the simple things in life and GK Enchanted Farm is a perfect quick getaway from the city," says Noelle; Kai is her son. "Kids can feed animals, harvest vegetables, climb trees, run, and be free and breathe fresh air. Food is good and healthy using ingredients, fruits, and vegetables produced in their very own farms."

The GK Enchanted Farm is located at California St., Pandi Angat Road, Angat, Bulacan. http://gk1world.com/gk-enchanted-farm

4. Cintai Corito's Garden in Batangas "Another quick nature escape from the city is this Balinese-inspired resort-- peaceful, quiet with lots of greenery, and immaculate gardens. There are freely roaming animals around the resort like peacocks and ducks so kids will enjoy that! Kids can also ride the horse in the resort. There's a small playground and pool. Healthy meals are served and rooms are nice and huge, lots of space which we all need especially when we travel with kids," says Noelle.

Cintai Corito’s Garden offers 18 villas; facilities include four swimming pools, children’s playground, and two pavilions. http://coritosgarden.com/
